In an era of constant connectivity, many adolescents report feeling increasingly lonely. Smartphones, social media and online communication are profoundly transforming the way relationships, emotional bonds and identity are formed.


During an interdisciplinary study day organised by Rete Operativa, several specialists examined the psychological and social implications of hyperconnectivity, reflecting on new forms of loneliness, the influence of social media and the educational challenges posed by the digital environment in the development of younger generations.
